How Lyons Elite Started: The Story Behind Toronto’s Luxury Matchmaking Agency

Lyons Elite officially launched in 2014 — though the foundation for it had been building for years before that. By the time the agency held its first celebration in Toronto in the summer of 2015, what started as a clear-eyed response to a gap in the market had already become something more: a reputation, a network, and a growing roster of clients who were serious about finding the right person and had decided to stop leaving that search to chance.

This is the story of how it started, what it’s built on, and why it exists.

Where It Came From

I founded Lyons Elite after years of running Femme Fatale Media, an event staffing and promotional modeling agency I built from the ground up starting in 2009. Through that work I spent years surrounded by exceptional, accomplished people — on both sides of the equation. Successful professionals who were extraordinary at their work and had built remarkable lives. And intelligent, driven, genuinely impressive women who were equally serious about what they wanted from life and from a relationship.

What I kept observing was a disconnect. The people who had everything figured out professionally were often completely lost when it came to their personal lives — not because they weren’t great partners, but because the systems available to them were designed for the average person navigating average circumstances. Dating apps optimized for volume. Traditional setups were random and unreliable. Nobody was doing this work at the level these people deserved, with the seriousness, the discretion, and the genuine investment their situation required.

Lyons Elite was my answer to that gap. A boutique matchmaking agency built specifically for high-achieving singles — people who had earned the right to be selective and needed a process that reflected that.
