Love is a tricky thing. It’s even more difficult when you are the CEO of a company with lots of responsibilities and not much free time. If you’re looking for love, but don’t know where to start, it’s important that you be honest about your needs and expectations. In this post we will discuss 5 tips for finding love as a busy CEO!
Always be honest about your needs and expectations. There’s no point in getting into a relationship if you know it won’t work out because of fundamentally different desires or goals.
Be intentional about your time. Make sure that you are making the most of the limited free time you have by scheduling things like workouts, meetings with friends and family, and especially dates in advance so they don’t interfere with other responsibilities.
Be aware of what’s out there for you to participate in–even if it feels as if you are too busy. You don’t have to be in the middle of a date or at a networking event to meet someone great–you can find people using a luxury matchmaker that specializes in working with busy CEO’s.
If you are traveling, make sure to sign up for every networking event or meet up that is related to what your company does. This will give you more opportunities to network and connect with people who may be able to help grow your business.
Get out of the house! If you’ve been spending too much time at work lately, make the effort to go out and enjoy yourself. You never know who you will meet.
Don’t give up on finding love! Lots of CEO’s find success in the workplace and then eventually meet someone incredible who is just as dedicated to their company. Busy CEOs are often looking for ways that they can work smarter, not harder–and this includes how you date. That being said, as a busy CEO myself, I know that we like everything to operate like a business, but finding love doesn’t work that way. You have to be open and honest about your needs, make time for love in the midst of busy days, stay optimistic and patient. It isn’t checking off a long list, but attraction and connection.
Being a CEO is never easy–but if you are successful at finding love then it’s worth all the effort!
